The reality of the day is that we have to wear masks, we can like it or not, why not at least make it fun and cute ?

I'm going to show you 2 different ways to make a macrame mask lanyard. Here's what you'll need :

- 3mm rope (I used 3ply).

- scissors

- mini karabiner (I used these here)

- cotton cord of a different colour, Optional!

  1. Cut 1 rope at 6m and 1 rope at 1,50m (20feet and 5 feet)

  2. Attach them to your first karabiner with a larks head knot, make sure the shorter cords are both in the middle

  3. Option 1:

Leave a 1,5 cm space and

start making square knots all

the way down the cord

Option 2:

Start making half square knots all the way

down the cord

4.

Option 1:

Attach to the second karabiner with a gathering knot, if you want to make it

colorful like I did, use a colored rope (about 30cm). Do the same on the other

side (although you not doing it only for the colour)

Option 2:

Attach to the second karabiner with a gathering knot (you can make this version

in color, just use the same process as option 1)

5. Done, Enjoy! Let me know what you think and please tag me on instagram if you

make this! @create.a.ray
